About Us

Shailen Abram is an exceptionally talented musician who has been playing the piano and singing with remarkable fluency since the age of 18 months. Despite his visual impairment, he possesses perfect pitch and an extraordinary vocal ability, allowing him to play and sing with precision and grace.

His remarkable skills have led to notable opportunities, including performing alongside his idol, the legendary Stevie Wonder at the age of 10. Shailen is a multi-faceted musician who leads his own band, serves as a vocal coach, and directs youth music programs at his local church.

Shailen’s achievements were recognized with the National YES I CAN award in 2011, honoring students with disabilities who excel in their talents. His educational background includes the Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children, where he also provided music therapy to his peers. He currently attends Brashear High School in the morning and the School of Creative and Performing Arts Academy in downtown Pittsburgh in the afternoon. Shailen maintains an impressive 4.0 GPA.

Shailen's kind and generous spirit shines through in his music, which he shares widely. He placed second in the prestigious Jackie Evanko competition in 2013, further solidifying his reputation as a talented and dedicated musician.
